What are the benefits of low-moisture carpet cleaning compared to hot water extraction?

Accepted Answer

Hot water extraction can be disruptive due to long drying times, sometimes up to 24 hours or more. This prolonged dampness can lead to sticky detergent residues that attract dirt or even foster mold and mildew growth. Low-moisture carpet cleaning, on the other hand, typically dries in just 1 to 3 hours and doesn't require moving furniture or using foam blocks under furniture legs. The difference is significant!

Can you explain low-moisture carpet cleaning?

Cloud 9's low-moisture carpet cleaning is an effective cleaning method that uses natural solutions and less water than traditional steam cleaning.  Our low-moisture method applys the cleaning solution directly to the fibers of your carpets, without soaking through the backing, and extracts the solution with the soiling attached through agitation and absorbtion.  The result is clean carpet fibers and a dry carpet pad.  It's safe for children and pets and results in much faster drying times!

Are your carpet and upholstery cleaning products safe for pets and children?

Yes. We use a highly effective, all natural cleaning solution that is safe for both pets and children.  The proprietary product consists of natural minerals and salts and contains natural oxidizing and deodorizing properties.  Not only is this the most effective carpet and upholstery cleaning solution we've ever used, it's also the safest!
Our deodorizing treatments use products that were designed to be safe for pets and babies as it uses essential oils as primary ingredients.

We offer one-time and recurring hourly house cleaning, housekeeping, and maid services.
